These terms govern your use of Nelavista. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, including your university, department, and level — this is how Nelavista scopes course materials, CBT practice, and academic content to you specifically. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Nelavista is intended for university students. If you're using an institutional email or affiliation, you confirm you're actually enrolled at the university you list.
Course materials, past questions, and CBT practice content on Nelavista are provided for study purposes. Some materials are uploaded by students, some are drawn from open educational resource catalogs, and some are AI-assisted study aids. Nelavista makes a good-faith effort to keep this content accurate and properly scoped to your university and department, but does not guarantee that every material is error-free, complete, or an official representation of any specific course, lecturer, or exam.
AI-generated explanations, practice feedback, and tutoring responses are a study aid, not a substitute for your actual coursework, lecturers, or official course materials.
If you upload materials, post in community groups, or submit projects, you're responsible for that content. You must have the right to share it, and it must not infringe anyone else's copyright, contain malware, or violate applicable law. Nelavista may remove content that violates these terms or that a moderator determines is inaccurate, harmful, or inappropriate.
The Skills area lets you learn structured courses, build projects, and request review of your work. A project marked "reviewed" or contributing to a "Verified" skill badge reflects an automated AI review (or, where noted, an admin review) against the stated brief — it is Nelavista's assessment of what was submitted, not a certification recognized by any third party, employer, or accrediting body unless explicitly stated.
Don't misrepresent your own work, claim a project as yours when it isn't, or attempt to manipulate review scores, quiz results, or verification status through the platform's technical mechanisms (including its APIs) rather than through genuine work.
Nelavista may connect students with paid opportunities ("gigs") posted or curated in partnership with employers/clients. At this stage, Nelavista acts as a curated intermediary: opportunities, applications, and payment status are currently managed with admin involvement rather than as a fully open, self-service marketplace, and Nelavista does not yet process payments directly through a payment gateway. Nelavista may take a platform fee from paid opportunities, disclosed at the time an opportunity is shown to a student.
Employers using Nelavista to discover student talent must not use information accessed through the platform (student profiles, contact details, project details) for any purpose other than legitimate hiring/collaboration, and must not attempt to bypass a student's stated privacy settings.
Nelavista is not a party to any employment or contracting relationship formed between a student and an employer, and does not guarantee the conduct, payment reliability, or legitimacy of any employer or student beyond what's stated in its verification status.
Where Nelavista facilitates a payment between an employer and a student for a completed opportunity, the specific payment method, reference, and timing will be recorded on the opportunity's status. If you believe a payment status is wrong or a payment did not occur as recorded, contact support immediately using the address below — do not simply mark the dispute yourself without a record, since payment status changes are logged for both parties' protection.
Don't use Nelavista to: attempt unauthorized access to another user's account or data; probe, scan, or attack the platform's infrastructure; scrape or bulk-extract content beyond normal use; impersonate another person or organization; upload malicious files; or use the platform's AI features to generate content that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
Nelavista is provided "as is." Features are actively being built and may change, and some university/department combinations may have limited or no content coverage yet — where that's the case, Nelavista will say so honestly rather than showing content that doesn't actually exist for your school. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
You may stop using Nelavista and request account deletion at any time via account settings or by contacting support. Nelavista may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, engages in abuse, or poses a security risk to the platform or other users.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we make changes we will update the effective date at the top, and for material changes we will notify users by email or in-app.
